DescriptionThin walled cylindrical vessel in two parts with linear decoration. Lid has a slightly domed top and button knob with concentric circles forming ridges on the edge. The overhanging sides cover the height of the vessel include black-glazed horizontal bands at top and bottom that are joined by one section of 7 vertical lines. Body of the vessel has a flat base with wheel marks evident and tall tapering sides decorated with three horizontal bands: black-glaze bands at top and bottom with a red band in the center. Rounded foot glazed. Pale buff fabric. Previously mended.
